Support: How to obtain support for Code Red Technologies products

Support

  • Code Red Technologies delivers world class support for our products with nearly 24x7 time coverage since we have engineers both in the UK and USA.
  • Support is primarily by email, and your support query goes directly to the engineers developing our products. For details of how to contact us, please see below.
  • Support is provided for a set period after the purchase of your product.
    • For Red Suite NXP editions this period is 90 days.
    • For Red Suite (full product), this period is 1 year.
    • During Evaluation of Red Suite, support is provided solely at our discretion.
    After this period, you can purchase additional support 1-year at a time.
  • Support must be purchased for EVERY license/seat within your organisation.

To contact support

  1. Collate your product installation information (Product, Version, Operating System, License type, Debug limit, Activation code) from the product "Help -> Support -> Product Information" menu.
  2. Collate full details of the issue you are encountering, including:
    • information on how to replicate the issue (including build options)
    • the MCU that you are targeting
    • the text of any error or warning messages
    • pre-processed source code (for compiler issues)
  3. Email the support team with all the above details.
  4. Alternatively, using the "Help -> Support -> Email Code Red Technologies" menu will automatically create an email containing all relevent product information.
