LPCXpresso's IDE (powered by Code Red) is a highly-integrated software development environment for NXP's LPC microcontrollers, which includes all the tools necessary to develop high-quality software solutions in a timely and cost effective fashion. LPCXpresso is based on a simplified Eclipse with many LPC-specific enhancements. It also features the current version of the industry standard GNU tool chain with a proprietary optimized C library. The LPCXpresso IDE can build an executable of any size with full code optimization, and it supports a download limit of 128KB after registration.

LPC1768 Development Kit

The LPC1768 Development Kit contains all of the hardware and software required for evaluating and developing with NXP's LPC1700 series microcontrollers.
The kit consists of the RDB1768V2 Development board, a fully featured evaluation version of Red Suite, and a suite of example programs. The integrated on-board debug circuit, means that no additional debug probe is needed when used with Red Suite.
